EMF work alongside MEMS STAR to create a restructured, minimalistic enclosure cabinet.
EMF were approached for a re-design to a metal enclosure cabinet. This enclosed cabinet housed equipment used in the process of the deposition / etch process module, which is widely used in the semiconductor manufacturing process.
The existing cabinet did not hold strong aesthetical value and was manufactured from a large range of small fabricated components, making it very time consuming to manufacture and on a long lead time.
Our involvement, alongside the design team at MEMS STAR has resulted in a more streamlined, visually appealing, simplified cabinet design which is now easier and cheaper to make. This new minimalist revamp is more in line with similar products seen within the Hi-Tec industry.
EMF and MEMS STAR are working together on multiple versions of this cabinet, with the aim to employ the same new manufacturing / design process to the MEMS STAR range of cabinets. This will help to provide the benefits of quick turnaround times and overall streamlined look.
As a result of this partnership, a close working relationship has developed allowing MEMS STAR to supply their products at higher margins with greater customer satisfaction.
